Many large scale developments now
require wide ranging Environmental Impact Assessment as part of
the submission for planning permission. PPS can project manage
the preparation of the Environmental Statement using our wide
network of specialist consultants as well as providing planning
input into the development project itself.
A recent example is the Aston
Clinton Road Major Development Area at Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
The area identified within the adopted Local Plan evolved into
a comprehensive mixed-use proposal to create a new sustainable
employment extension to Aylesbury.
The application required an Environmental Impact Assessment that
had to address particularly difficult highways, archaeological
and floodplain issues.
