Following our clients’ purchase of an undeveloped site north of Grantham, Lincolnshire with an extant planning permission for a warehouse development, PPS were instructed to obtain planning permission for an ‘Advanced Manufacturing Facility’ which would utilise the latest technologies available for the production of pre-cast concrete and pre-fabricated products for the construction industry.
Working with specialist consultants in relation to acoustics, transport, drainage and ecology, a scheme for two manufacturing buildings with a total combined floorspace of 11,504 sqm and operating on a 24 hour basis was developed and submitted to the council.
PPS then successfully steered the scheme through the development management process in the face of objections from other businesses and uses in the locality with planning permission being secured in September 2017.
